Work as a foundation

As your Employment Coach, I know that for many of us, the main driver for finding a job is a simple one: income.

Making sure the bills are paid and there's food on the table for our whānau is a powerful motivator.

Financial stability is a key benefit of work, for sure, but I want to talk about something even bigger.

The things you can't measure in dollars and cents.

Employment is a foundation for so much more than a strong bank account.

It can give us a powerful sense of purpose, that feeling of being a valued part of something.

It builds independence and empowerment, giving you the confidence to take control of your future.

It's about having a reason to get up in the morning, establishing positive routines that support better habits, and bringing a new rhythm to your life.

These benefits ripple out into every part of our lives.

A job is often a gateway to new social connections and a supportive network of people who share your interests.

This sense of belonging is vital for our mental wellbeing.

There’s a deep satisfaction that comes from contributing your skills and hard work, not just to an employer, but to your family and the wider community.

My role as an Employment Coach is to help you see these possibilities.

It's not about simply finding a job; it’s about discovering what matters to you and finding work that aligns with your values and goals.

Together, we can explore your skills and passions, tackle any barriers you're facing, and reconnect with the idea that employment can be a fulfilling part of a great life.

I’m here to support you every step of the way, providing a listening ear and practical advice.

Whether you're just starting your journey or looking for a change, let's have a conversation about what your next steps could be.

Until next time!

Logan
